Okay....
Rewind brain.
Just saw this so ignore my post about SuSE 8.2!
How about "ls -ls /rc.d/rc5.d > /tmp/startuplink.init5.txt"
that should do it. Sorry about missing the boat there.
By the way, have you installed everything that RH9 offers on the CDs?
Or just the default install?
