That is good news! I don't have any of my clients currently using
appgen, but I know people who do. They are in a state of near panic as
they are currently having a problem and appgen was no longer answering
the phone. 

I like my sql-ledger. GPL is good :) It may actually be selling point to
convert a client from Quickbooks (Blech!) to SQL-Ledger. Having the
source code not hidden away by one company/individual makes for an
alternative route for product support in the event of disaster.
