Hope you don't have the same problem I had: A badly written
piece of software crashed multiple times before I realized
what was going on and so corrupted the file system that I had
to reinstall everything.  Major disaster.  Well actually what
corrupted the file system was successive shutdowns via the
power switch as the crashed system wouldn't respond to keyboard
or mouse. It was a Bad Week.
