[ale] Linux and Proprietary image formats

Has anyone had any luck burning a .nrg Nero image with the tools availble ie 
cdrecord, cdrdao with any success? Or have any ideas how one might accomplish 
it. I've found a useful app that runs in wine at 
http://www.roland-illig.de/lang.delphi.nrg2iso.html but I think my probms 
burning the resulting iso come from it being a mode 2 image.
I've ran out ideas myself.
