[ale] Wow! Check out these load averages!

I had to remote reboot a Novell <shudder> box many time when it would
hang on bad print jobs. Put in one of the X10 dial-up power switches,
setup a password (12 digits, best it could do) and life got better. Box
hangs, someone calls and complains, I would call the X10 box, enter the
password, hit the code to kill power on the box, hit the code to restore
power, 30 minutes later it was back up.
