I seem to be having problems with my Ensoniq SoundscapeVIVO not being
detected by ALSA.

This card has always been a pain in the ass, enough to make me purchase
the (VERY GOOD) drivers from opensound.com.

Anyone know how to make the sound work?

Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 0.9.7 (Thu Sep 25
19:16:36 2003 UTC).
request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- snd-card-0. error = -16
ALSA device list:
  No soundcards found.
