[ale] BlueCurve cure?

I have found that if you install RedHat 7.2 and then use up2date, you can get 
upgraded packages and keep the desktop. IMHO, upgraded RedHat 7.2 is faster, 
and more stable than 8.0. This technique will probably work with 7.3
