I couldn't agree more. I believe the underlying moral issues should not be
ignored. One person's zealot is another person's man of principle.

All the good things you can say about .NET will never remove the end
goal of Microsoft. In all they do, they want you to do it their way and
only their way. They don't want you to have a choice.

Go down the .NET road and I guarantee you eventually you will hear 'I
told you so.'

This company has destroyed more people's lives then Eron and Worldcom
put together.

Watch how they operate. I can't imagine why anyone would consider
anything the do to be the right way to go.

I also believe Mono is a huge screwup. Look at history. Any company
that has worked with Microsoft has either been consume or destroyed.

Zealot, yes, but I can back up my beliefs with experience and examples.

As for Linux being more difficult then Windows. Yes, it is true. But,
as we all continue use and abuse Linux, it continues to get better. You
can't just look at the short term gain. You must look for the long term
gain.

I personally can do more with my Linux box then Windows, because I have
the source.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
