Man, you got generous friends.
Looks like this thing runs palmOS and uses a USB port. You should be
able to use jpilot ( http://www.jpilot.org/ ) and pilot-link to sync it.
I've about got my wife converted from the Lose 95 palm software to
jpilot on Linux. Great stuff.
