I hear you.  What I was alluding to is that ALL the dsl providers have 
the same line.  'Up to 5 zillion bits per nanosecond,' but if you ask 
them for a minimum, NONE of them will commit to anything.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
