[ale] More on Mozilla/Java

As root, I installed the latest plugin from Netscape into Moz.  It still
doesn't work in Moz or Galeon.  It shows the installed plugin under Help
| About plugins, but applets just appear as gray boxes.  In Moz the
status bar shows what class or jar it is downloading, but it never
changes or makes any progress.
