I agree. Office is a very powerful tool but it'd be nice to see some of
the open source office suites develop. Plus I kind of like my box to be
MS free. I feel cleaner for some reason. Compatibility is the real
issue here. MS knows that if it can control formats it can control
computing by forcing everyone to use their software in order to be
compatible with everyone else. That's what scares the hell out of them
about open source.
