'fdisk -l'  Will show you the current formatted partitions, including 
start and end.  It also gives you total cyclinders so you should be able 
to calculate unused space from that data.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
