Hello,
very simple question for you:
how can i see the amount of unallocated space under Linux?
problem:
I have hd for 40 gb. I have Nt and rh73 installed. I need more space in
/home to install Oracle9i. I found "parted". Which might ( i don't know yet
) add or expand the partition.
the problem is that it asks not for how much space i want to add but for
starting/ending sectors/segments ( don't remember right now ).
so now i need to find out where the unused space is. And i just don't know
how to do this.
Another problem - it ( parted ) asks not for mb i want to add but for ( i
think ) segments, so i have to know where the space is...
any help?
P.S. on top of this i was trying to find where is the disk druid ( i liked
it gui interface, was very convenient for me ), but failed...
Please advice.
Thank You
Andy
