Being, originally, from Redneckville Alabama I can attest to these
facts. I've seen abuse of voting restrictions in action. I've seen
teachers in the public school system fired or pushed out for not voting
for the right school board members. I've seen farmers unable to sell
their crops for voting for the wrong party. And, this was in the 1970's.

Yes, it can happen here.
