Development will stop with this version: e2undel is useless on ext3 file
systems (see how e2undel works), and I expect most ext2 users to upgrade
to ext3 (as I did on all of my machines). There are still some minor things
to do (see the todo list in file BUGS in the archive); but if less and less
people are using ext2, it does not make much sense to work on this tool.
So this tool won't do it.
