You might try using korinoco.  It's a tool to easily configure your
orinoco chipset based 802.11 cards.

I've had spotty success with it, but it might be worth a try.

	See the wireless_tools package.  iwconfig from that can set it,
according to it's man page.  Find it on freshmeat.net.
