[ale] INN server [different question]

i had INN running great for awhile...now, it seems to deny all users,
including root, access to posting...the error i get is that the signature
file is too long, but i've changed my tin config to not append sigs, and
even removed my .sig file completely to no avail...regards the sig was
only 4 lines (INN's max length)...

i've read through all the docs i can find on the issue, but can't figure
out where in the news config i can change this sort of thing, or is there
something i'm over-looking....it's local only newsgroups with no outside
feeds....any help is appreciated...
