Slow...ER, yes. REALLY SLOW, no.

Why would it? I could see where it might cause a problem for someone like Yahoo
or eBay, but c'mon...how much traffic are we talking about here? On the other
hand, there's not much reason to use tcpwrappers anyway if you're making use of
another access control method like ipchains.
