As far as I know, BellSouth uses Alcatel equipment in their COs.  The
actual modem itself doesn't really matter too much, as long as it has an
Alcatel chipset and/or specs.

They've given out a number of different bridges.. The venerable Alcatel
1000 can probably be found for cheap, and is a pretty reliable bridge.  I
have a Speedstream 5660 ADSL router.  

So, look up the specs on your PCI card, and if it's based on alcatel
stuff, go for the Alcatel 1000 bridge.  Should be able to find it for
cheap.
