Tell me about it.  Last night, I had a real frustrating experience with
Xcdroast and Grip before that.  Grip didn't want to function unless you were
logged in as root - logging in as me, su-ing, and launching Grip as root
didn't work - and Xcdroast was leaving me with no visible way to select wav
files for burning - at least when it wasn't crashing out.  BTW, this was
under Mandrake 7.1.

I am not looking forward to changing distros but I sure am getting tired of
having a lot of stuff in a distro that just doesn't work.  

I'm also getting fed up with Netscape's misbehavior.  Occasionally Netscape
will "break" and won't even launch again until I log out and log back in.  

It really makes me wonder who's QAing these distro releases?

Think I should try SuSE/Mozilla next time?
