[ale] VPN and private IPs

Is it possible to do the following with a 2 linux boxes running
IP MASQ?



---------------------- VPN over Inet----------------------
|eth0 Public Address |--------------|eth0 Public address |
|eth1 192.168.1.x    |              |eth1 192.168.2.x    |
----------------------              ----------------------

I want to be able to ping 192.168.2.x subnet from
my 192.168.1.x.  This may not be possible but I thought
that maybe somone has done this?
