[ale] 2 video cards co-existing?

Sure is.... We have a box here doing that same thing. However the motherboard/bios has to support it. It would be simple if you had one as an AGP and one as a PCI, then you could tell your bios to not assign an irq to the agp card, but assign an irq to the pci card in whichever slot.

But to get started on the doze side of the world; Disable your primary Windows card in control panel. (do not remove it from control panel)
Take your normal windows card out, and put in the new care. Allow windows to install the drivers it needs, then disable that one and re-enable your original. It will require a few reboots but should work fine.

In linux it will be an irq issue ... I can't remember off the top of my head how to force linux/X to use a certain irq for video and ignore the other.

Got an odd one. I have 2 video cards, one I want to use in Linux, one
in Winblowz. Is it possible to have them co-exist in the machine at the
same time so I can just unplug the monitor and re-plug it?
