[ale] MP3, Archives, rc.modules

Okay, I have a few questions. I know that this first question is
in the archives somewhere, but I don't know where the archives are.
(Which is my second question. ) If anyone knows the answer to this off
the top of their head, could they please send, otherwise I will have to
wait until I get the URL for the archives from here, and then find time
to go searching. What I need to know is what the MP3 player is that can
play MP3's on a 486DX2/66MHz with 24M RAM. I know someone mentioned it in
answer to the same question before, and I remember it was a text based
player which is okay with me for now. All I need is that it can play them
without any major (if any) sound quality loss.

My third question relates to modules. I downloaded the 2.2.5 RPM
from RH6.0 into my RH5.2 box, and installed. Now it doesn't load the
modules that I need, and I have to load them all by hand. In Slackware,
it was easy because I just went into the /etc/rc.d/rc.modules file and
uncommented the ones I wanted. I can't find anything similar in RH, and
the whole init process looks more complicated based on the number of
configuration files. Where are modules turned on at during bootup?
