That's your problem then.  Around 2.1.102 the kernel switched from
ipfwadm to ipchains (so much for the code freeze ;-).  I've not looked
to see if Linus has ever added my patches to update that, but it should
be mentioned in Documentation/Changes along with a URL of where to go
for the new software....
