I am looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance microprocessors
based embedded medical laser surgery systems as well as developing new functionality in an
FDA/GMP/ISO9001 environment. You will also write and maintain software requirements
specifications (SRS), requirements traceability ( RTM ), software design documents and
perform formal software verifications.  Requires a full cycle of software development
including specification, design, coding, verification, integration, validation and release.

Qualified candidate must be able to developing medical products desirable. Must be fluent in
C, assembly and experience in formal structured embedded systems environment ( IEEE
based software standards ) required.  Experience using a PC/Windows 3.1/95/NT as a
development platform.  Must have understanding of electrical schematics and ability to
troubleshoot electrical circuitry as well as EXP. with electronic equipment such as in-circuit
emulators and oscilloscopes. 

The company is a national manufacturer of lasers for eye surgery and is located in Waltham,
MA. The salary is from 65k+.
