[ale] ghostscript, tex, dvips

I don't know if this is the problem you are having, but I know that I
had to edit /usr/lib/texmf/dvips/config.ps to change my paper size from
a4 to letter before I could print with dvips that came w/ slackware 3.0.0.

I haven't had any problems viewing the output w/ ghostview.
