Slackware-2.0.0? What's that? Slackware-2.0 is over a year and a half old.
Are you by chance confusing the Linux kernel version with a version of
Slackware? I believe the latest version of Slackware is 3.1

The terminfo stuff is now part of ncurses and then there is the termcap file
in /etc  Which one is your application trying to use?
