*Sr. Linux Administrator - Atlanta Midtown*

for a Sr. Linux Administrator who will be responsible for designing,
implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with
other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment
processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every
problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

The functions of this role require a solid understanding of
Linux,Apache/Nginx, MySQL and PHP.  Candidates seeking to fill this
position should have this skill-set as a foundation as well as operational
experience with other commonly ancillary technologies.  We have created our
own solution that utilizes appropriate technologies for specific functions,
thus your experience should be quite broad and extensive.


Our infrastructure has been developed using our software operating with
open-source software.  We are looking for individuals who can not only
administer common software packages, but can tweak and modify them for
performance or purpose.  This is a great opportunity for individuals
looking to flex their creativity while keeping in mind operational
reliability.


*Your Role:*

   - Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
   - Troubleshoot issues across multiple systems and technologies
   - Create and modify software used in the daily operations of the
   infrastructure
   - Assist in successful deployment of new software and products
   - Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
   - Extensive experience with administering and utilizing svn and git.

*Your Background:*

   - Extensive experience with Linux servers in production (physical and
   virtualized) environments
   - Exposure to the fundamentals of various languages
      - Experience with PHP, Perl, C and shell
      - Familiarity with Java, python and/or lua is preferred
   - Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services,
   including:
      - syslogng, ELK, postfix, git, Apache, Node, Lighttpd, HAProxy.
   - Proficient with network tools such as iptables, tcpdump, ngrep
   - Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
   - Knowledge of servers and switches - Freeswitch Linux, SIP would be a
   plus
   - Experience with virtualization technologies, such as ProxMox.
   - Experience working with SIP or VoIP technologies is a plus.
   - Experience with message bus and message queueing technologies would be
   a plus
