Description:

This position will provide customer-facing support to users of the
High Performance Computing (HPC) Center's resources, including
accounts, quotas, backups, custom software loads, cluster schedulers,
triage of requests and problem reports. The incumbent will be
responsible for scripting and programming solutions to improve both
the system administration of the HPC complex and the end-user experience.

The Systems Support Engineer II will be a member of the team providing
High Performance Computing (HPC) services to Georgia Tech faculty,
researchers and students.  These duties include installation and
maintenance of Linux operating systems, their network services,
troubleshooting hardware and software problems and performance issues,
configuration management, cluster management, and end-user support.
