backup/recovery experience in Atlanta, GA.  Below is a detailed job 
description.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Candidate will work as part of a distributed team to provide day-to-day 
operational support for a global enterprise backup and recovery in a 
Unix/Linux environment. 
Our client utilizes HP Data Protector and CommVault but you do NOT need to 
have experience in these specific tools. Any similar types of tools will 
work, IE: MC, Netback, etc. Having HP Data Protector Experience is a plus 
but any recovery tool is feasible. 
Strong UNIX/LINUX is required. 
As part of a team, candidate will be responsible for all aspects of 
enterprise backup and recovery. 
Assist in the installation of linux/unix servers and support the 
environment 
Configurations of backups and troubleshooting failed back up jobs 
Perform data restores for customers 
Assist in the migration of Data Protector 6 to 8 
Work with customers to determine strategy, how back up fits in their 
plans, helping coordinate efforts with customer & implementation

REQUIRED SKILLS: 
 Experience maintaining an Enterprise Backup and Recovery environment 
 Experience with UNIX and Linux 
 Strong written and verbal communication skills 
 Team player

PLUS SKILLS, NOT required: 
HP Data Protector experience 
Hardware: HP X9000 IBRIX, HP 6550 EVA storage arrays, IBM 3584 Tape 
Library 
OS familiarity: HP-UX, Linux, AIX, VMWare, Windows Server OS 
Scripting familiarity: Korn, VB 
Database familiarity: SQL, Oracle, DB2 and Sybase
