Thompson Technologies is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator for our client in Alpharetta, GA. The person in this position should have extensive and recent experience working with RedHat Linux 5.0 and should also have solid experience with CentOS.

Required:
- 5+ years of Linux administration experience including experience implementing and administrating Linux O/S and with security and maintenance of Linux and the overall LAMP stack
- Strong and recent experience with RedHat 5.0.
- Solid experience with LAMP including Apache and MySQL
- Knowledge of other open source databases as big plus.
- Experience working with Linux web clusters
- Strong knowledge of VMware, networking, and load balancing
