Thompson Technologies has a Direct Hire/Full-Time opportunity for a Linux Engineer in Atlanta, GA.  In addition to a strong Linux background, w e are looking for someone who is also focused in Cisco and VMware (or other virtualization) technologies.  The person in this role will be responsible for solely managing the company's I.T. Server and Network environment.

Required Technologies:
Linux, Apache, JBoss, Cisco Networking

Responsibilities:

 *   Maintain existing production Linux application servers, N-tier network built on Cisco networking technology and development & test environments
 *   Maintain the 24x7x365 hosted application environment
 *   Support application engineering team
 *   Design and build future technology deployments
 *   Maintain compliance with industry standards, including PCI-DSS
