One of my clients located at 285/Ashford Dunwoody is looking for someone for the following position:

Application Server Administrator
Looking for a strong application server administrator with demonstrated experience in enterprise-grade application servers (JBoss or Weblogic preferred).
This role will be part of a team responsible for supporting the development/test/production lifecycle of large-scale J2EE based strategic application.
The role and responsibilities include experience with installation and configuration of JBoss or Weblogic application servers in both clustered and non-clustered configurations, maintenance and support of J2EE based applications, deploying code modules to application servers using automation tools/scripts, triaging environmental issues and extending automation scripts as required.
Responsibilities:
*         Build global application environments on as needed basis in co-ordination with operations group
*         Administer and support global application environments
*         Proactively manage and maintain application servers and web servers
*         Application code release management in co-ordination with release management group
*         Application server configuration management
*         Keep an up-to-date support document
*         Proactively identify and automate the routine tasks
*         Disaster recovery support in co-ordination with operations group

Experience Required:
*         Experience Unix shell scripting (bash, awk, sed, etc)
*         Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
*         Strong experience with Apache web servers
*         Strong Linux/Unix platform experience
*         5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of working experience in supporting Enterprise J2EE application environments.
*         Excellent knowledge in administering J2EE based applications
*         Basic networking knowledge
*         Previous J2EE development experience is a plus
