     The Technical Support Analyst*s role is to provide a single point of
     contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the
     organization*s desktop computing environment. This includes
     installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and
     upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal
     workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem
     areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and
     accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

     ****Hours of work are from 11:00 AM * 8:00 PM.

     Responsibilities

     Strategy & Planning
     * Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning
     for meeting future desktop hardware needs.

     STRONG VMWARE and CITRIX a MUST


     Position Requirements

     Formal Education & Certification
     * College diploma or university degree in the field of computer
     science and/or 7+ years equivalent work experience.
     * Certifications in A+, MCSE a plus.

     Knowledge & Experience
     * Excellent technical knowledge of PC, Thin Clients, printers,
     scanners and desktop hardware.
     * Experience in Citrix, Xendesktop and a Virtual Infrastructure
     environment.
     * Strong Active Directory knowledge.
     * Strong networking knowledge, TCP/IP, OSI Models.
     * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
     * Experience in working with Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry, iPhone
     and Android phones.
     * Excellent technical knowledge of operating systems, and standards,
     including Windows and MAC.
     * Working knowledge of scripting, batch files etc...
     * Knowledge of document management software within a company.
     * Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience on PCs, Laptops,
     Printers, Scanners and Wyse terminals.
     * Working knowledge of video conferencing.
     * Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
     * Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural
     documentation, and OEM guides.

     Operational Management
     * Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex
     desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement
     corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as
     needed.
     * Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot
     end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to
     deliver required desktop service levels.
     * Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to PCs.
     * Collaborate with other LAN technicians/network administrators to
     ensure efficient operation of the company*s desktop computing
     environment.
     * Where required, administer and resolve issues with associated
     end-user workstation networking software products.
     * Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails
     regarding desktop problems from any of our nationwide offices.
     * Answer to and perform moves, adds, and changes (MAC) requests as
     they are submitted by office managers.
     * Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for
     logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
     * Develop and maintain an inventory of all hardware: monitors,
     keyboards, hard drives, network cards, and other components and
     equipment.
     * Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component
     failure, repair, installation, and removal.
     * If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment
     vendors.
     * Administer all ID Creation and deletion
     * Provides technical support to end users for issues related to
     desktop, virtual desktop, laptop and file/print servers.
     * Supervises and coordinates activities of 3rd party vendors
     providing local IT customer support services.
     * Ensures service levels and timely resolution of trouble tickets.
     * Coordinates with Infrastructure Technology Manager and National IT
     Support Manager on issues related to data-center services.
     * Maintains secure and reliable infrastructure services within local
     and remote locations.
     * Maintains response rate for calls, within established time
     guidelines and procedures for problem resolution.
     * Collaborates and assists with efforts of other local/regional
     support teams to identify and monitor help desk impact on business
     units and systems performance.
     * Keeps National IT Support Manager apprised of local / regional
     support issues.
     * Answers questions and recommend corrective services to address
     customer complaints.
     * Evaluate and recommend technology solutions.


     Work Conditions
     * On-call availability for after hours support and one weekend per
     month.
     * Sitting for extended periods of time.
     * Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard,
     mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
     * Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects,
     such as computers and peripherals.
