Valyn Staffing is seeking a Sr. Sys Admin to join our client's dynamic team
in Atlanta, GA.  The following requirements apply:

 System Administrator -

* Linux Administration experience (RedHat/CentOS)

* Good working knowledge with scripting languages such as Javascript, Perl,
or PHP

*  VMware server administration experience

* Broad IT skill-set of web services technologies

* Intermediate level knowledge in MySQL or Oracle

* on-call support responsibilities expected

*Experience managing servers with Enterprise fiber channel storage attached

*Experience with monitoring





Position Description

A generalist with HTML expertise who has managed most or all aspects of Web
operations and has server support experience for enterprise application.
Performs advanced engineering of the architecture of systems and provides
technical expertise to database administrators and applications developers.
Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems, and
develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications which may
require research and analysis. May coordinate new build development
ensuring consistency and integration with existing service structure. May
assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and
providing increased functionality. Provides technical leadership for
development of  products, including database design, technical code design,
software management and technical standards for multiple hardware platforms.



Additional Knowledge & Skills

The successful candidate is a intermediate level System Administrator who
is very motivated to advance their skill level. Additional knowledge and
skills include:

* Install and support new and existing  products in Linux development
environments

* Propose and implement system enhancements to improve the performance and
reliability of Web site
