Our client is seeking a Red Hat Linux Engineer/Administrator to work in a very large enterprise environment. Day to day responsibilities will revolve around administration and engineering duties for the Red Hat Linux server environment, HP Server Automation, and scripting/automation (experience w/ either Python or Perl).
This person will be working in a small team supporting a large scale environment.
Most of the time will be with project work using HP Server Automation to build servers and they will lean on this person often to help troubleshoot and support different efforts. Additionally this person will be responsible for system administration including documentation, troubleshooting, and working with other engineers to design, develop and deploy HP Server Automation in a primarily Red Hat Linux server enterprise environment. Also responsible for development of the HP Server Automation environment (i.e looking at changing the underlying architecture and planning and implementing reporting services).

This is a contract to perm job located in Atlanta - 30339 zip code vicinity.

Most important technical skills:
Red Hat Linux engineering/administration skills, and Python or Perl scripting.

HP Server Automation experience is NOT required.
