Job Description: The Systems Engineer shall possess strong intermediate to
expert level Sun Solaris & Linux system administration skills, including;
paging, swaping, interprocess communication, thread allocation/management,
performance management & analysis, device/driver configurations,
server virtualization, transaction modeling and software deployment
methodologies in a multi-datacenter scenario.Systems Engineer must
collaborate closely with software engineers, security administrators and
network administrators toward successful deployment of Encore software
releases in a clustered, highly available technical infrastructure
supporting phases.

Environment Engineer shall thoroughly diagram and document
system configurations and comply with troubleshooting methods &
procedures. Candidate must possess strong intermediate Perl Script and
Unix Shell programming skills and have hands-on experience with monitoring
and trouble reporting/management tools (BMC Patrol, CA Unicenter, etc).

Candidate shall have successfully implemented Sun hardware/OS/Dell Linux
server infrastructures supporting real-time transaction processing in
large scale comms/internet/IP application environment consisting of
Oracle BEA Weblogic and Oracle RAC/SAN storage configurations.

Candidate shall also possess excellent written and verbal communication
skills. Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a high
degree of secure server level access and account management.

and QA platforms, writing runbook and production support documentation,
leading production deployment, troubleshooting of environments, providing
database operations support.
