We need a programmer to join a team of researchers as part of project
funded by the NIH to develop web-based 3D modeling tools.
This is a part time position, suitable for a grad student looking for
an assistantship or an experienced programmer looking to gain new
application experience.
* The programming will be in C. The ability to produce well-organized
and documented code is essential.
* The position is for one year with the option to continue for up to 3
additional years.
* The start date is January. The pay scale will be typical for a CS
grad student.
* Ideal candidates will have several of the following skills: good
English (spoken and written); experience in programming, preferably in
C; familiarity with Linux; a background in chemistry, biology,
physics, mathematics, or engineering; demonstrated productivity;
sincere enjoyment of coding.
If you are interested, send a resume and a description of one or two
programs, or significant parts of programs, that you wrote to the
email address below. The programs need not have been in C. Sending
code is optional and acceptable, but do not send confidential code.
