Our client, based in Atlanta, GA. is looking to hire a Data Center Consultant for a 3-6 month contract. Rate is flexible depending on experience.
 
Details:

 

Datacenter Consultant

*	
	Led at least one data center move initiative (one large or several small moves)
*	
	Have detailed data center design understanding - networks (capacity, routers, switches, load balancers), server design and sizing, hardware configuration, cooling, power, cabling, redundancy etc.
*	
	Experience with Linux
*	
	Understanding of Infrastructure and Application monitoring
*	
	Understanding of ITIL principles
*	
	Thorough understanding of server design and architecture 
*	
	Thorough understanding of network design and capacity/latency - real time system requirements

 

Initial effort will include determining requirements for a data center provider, leading the technical design efforts at the new provider data center, and developing a detailed workplan for the data center move.
