Are you a mid- level to senior level Linux System Administrator
looking to take your career to the next level?  One of the hotest new
technology firms in Atlanta is expandingthier Linux team.  You will be
responsible for Red Hat Linux Administration of large environments
supporting  external clients.  You will be responsible for assiting
with implementing new environments, performance tunning, high
availability, and scalability, monitoring, disaster recovery, backup,
and general administration.  You must have:


·        5+ year’s hands-on experience with deployment and
administration of large scale Red Hat Linux environments.



·        Proven expertise with administration of enterprise backups
and disaster recovery of large-scale Linux server environments.



·        Thorough knowledge of server and operating system
configuration and implementation including hardware, software, RAID,
SCSI, and other storage technologies.



·        Hands-on experience with server virtualization (ie  Xen or
VMware  or ESX server or Vmotion).



 ·        Proven expertise with Unix / Linux scripting.





·        Working technical knowledge of networking protocols such as
DNS, WINS, SMTP, SNMP, RPC, FTP, IP internetworking, etc.



·        Experience with building out data centers.  Ability to
conduct research into network, hardware, software and product issues
as required; able to quickly grasp new products and technologies



·        Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.



·        Strong customer service orientation.





·        Proficient in MS Office, MS Visio, and MS Project.



·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills.



·        Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.



·        Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

in a high-pressure, team-oriented, collaborative environment.



·        US citizen.



**Must have background sufficient to receive US government security clearance

up to 25% of the time.  The position is located in Marietta.
