Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a strong leader to join their team as a Senior Engineer. The Distributed Engineering team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions to all customers. Working with multiple teams, the Senior Engineer will deliver an infrastructure solution that is technically sound, resilient to failure, and meets requirements of the business.

  *   3+ years of experience with RHEL
  *   Current, enterprise-class System Engineering experience with UNIX/ Linux systems utilizing NAS and SAN storage
  *   Experience with Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphere
  *   Working knowledge of networking protocols and components (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS)
  *   Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
  *   Scripting experience (preferably Perl)
  *   Strong leadership skills

Key responsibilities:

  *   Delivering the infrastructure solution, including infrastructure architecture, hands-on build out and configuration of the infrastructure.
  *   Ensure projects are delivered within scope and on-time.
  *   High degree of collaboration with the Development and other teams to provide right level of agility within a defined delivery process.
