Hi there,

Well from Australia I am being sent to mirrors in:

London
Somewhere in France
Somewhere in Ireland
Somewhere in Japan
Somewhere Germany
Various USA servers

But yes, overall I just thought it to be a little odd where I was being sent to (as it didn’t appear to be even remotely the nearest region with the exception of Japan). Ive been attempting to get our Aus mirror up to date over the last 24 hours, but with resets like the following, its making life difficult ☹

linux/development/rawhide/x86_64/os/Packages/k/kernel-3.10.0-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm
    30595456 100% 2.62MB/s 0:00:11 (xfer#1219, to-check=4580/214033)
linux/development/rawhide/x86_64/os/Packages/k/kernel-debug-3.10.0-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm
    32157872 100% 2.35MB/s 0:00:13 (xfer#1220, to-check=4579/214033)
linux/development/rawhide/x86_64/os/Packages/k/kernel-debug-devel-3.10.0-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm
      425984 4% 414.34kB/s 0:00:19
rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer (104)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(759) [receiver=3.0.6]
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (70 bytes received so far) [generator]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(600) [generator=3.0.6]

Ill keep trying but yes just thought you should know.

can you be more precise about what you're seeing? We have ~60 mirrors with the releases/19 content presently; I expect we'll have the full compliment throughout the day as the mirrors pick up the bitflip and MM sees they have the content as expected.

Is something wrong with mirror manager?

Attempting to download Fedora 19 is sending me to mirror's all over the world, I thought there was a little more geo-smarts in place to ensure users at least get sent to a mirror in their country.

Seamus
