[mirror-admin] how does everyone feel about carrying cloud images?

Hey all. I'd like to explore the idea of making our Fedora cloud images
available in the mirrors, rather than just EC2. That way, people running
OpenStack, Eucalyptus, etc., will have something easy to work from.

We'd like to do both raw and qcow2; right now, the raw image is zero-padded
10GB, which is not so ideal, but in F18 it will start small and correctly
expand, so it will be as big as the actual installed image. In theory this
is a "JEOS" image, but since minimal has historically not been a Fedora
priority, it's not (yet) tiny. I don't know the actual size yet, but it
should be smaller than the LiveCD (eventually down under 100GB). If we can
get it small enough, it'd be ideal to make the raw image not compressed for
ease of use, but if it's painful we can always use xz.

Reactions? Would this additional space concern anyone?
