To follow up on this quickly, the new releng box we brought up for
building branched on did not have sudo setup to allow the automated
scripts to push the compose live. so i manually ran the exact rsync
command the scripts run which includes a --link-dest into the rawhide
tree. we did have a config in the mash package not right. which caused
the directories to not be hashed. so after fixing that i reran the
compose scripts. this time it had the hashed tree. and when it was
rsynced it hardlinked as expected into rawhide. Ive not looked at how
rsync does its --link-dest but im guessing it must be based on path,
so if the paths dont match it doesnt hardlink. i did manually run
hardlink on the whole of the development tree after the second compose
was done and it showed everything to be hardlinked at that point,
sorry for the extra noise and bandwith. it was certainly not
intentional.
