Here some numbers for Fedora 11 from mirror.switch.ch:
A very simple Google graph showing the daily Fedora traffic is attached.

The y Axes is in Bytes. So the peak on Wednesday of 1705 GBytes 
corresponds to a 24 hour average of 157 Mbit/s.

However, on Tuesday the volume of about 1300 GBytes was sent within 8.5 
hours. The bitflip was on 1530 (UTC+2).
So the average traffic during these 8.5 hours on Tuesday was 350 Mbit/s.
