Fedora 11 bitflip happened at 11:43 UTC, a couple hours early in order
to be ready for the masses of downloaders that will happen when the
official release announcement gets posted at 14:00 UTC.
You may change pub/fedora/linux/releases/11/ on your mirrors to mode
0755 at your earliest convenience. If you can also run report_mirror
at that time, it would be appreciated. If you are inclined to seed
the torrents as well, they are live and ready.
I'm expecting we will have about 200 mirrors synced up and serving
today.
On behalf of the Fedora Project, and the millions of Fedora users
worldwide, thank you for the service you provide to this community.
Your contributions of time, servers, storage, and bandwidth make it
possible to "get the bits out" to these users in a very cost-effective
way for the Project, and provide a very satisfying download experience
(fast!) for the end users. If Fedora had to foot the bill for your
service directly, the costs would be astronomical. Your contributions
therefore enable a far greater reach and scope for the Project than
could be done without you. Thank you for being part of this
community.
Thanks,
Matt
