Hi, what mirror you are pulling from?

Does a

time rsync -vaPH --numeric-ids --delete --delete-delay --delay-updates download1.fedora.redhat.com::fedora-enchilada > out

take 2 hours? That doesn't seem very normal :-(, I think I ran one of
these in around 7 minutes yesterday. If this is taking so abnormally
long, wfoster might be interested in getting some more network
information from you to track this down.

For what it's worth, I'm trying one of those from ibiblio now, and it
does seem extremely slow, definitely faaar longer than 7 minutes. I'll
post times when it finshes.

For comparison, I just tried the exact same command against
archive.linux.duke.edu, and mirrors.tummy.com, from at home and they
both took less than 3 minutes for 588032 files and 591094 files.

Hopefully we'll be able to work out some cause for this,
Ricky
