FYI. This should only affect mirrors pulling from the
Internet2-connected master which is in Raleigh. If you are pulling
from a Tier 1 mirror, you won't be affected.
Thanks,
Matt

Subject: Planned power outage in Raleigh, NC and the release date of beta
Reply-To: Development discussions related to Fedora <fedora-devel-list at redhat.com>
Yesterday I became aware of a planned 24+ hour power outage of Red Hat's
Raleigh HQ offices. Normally this wouldn't have much impact at all upon
Fedora, however our primary Internet2 mirror seed is located there, and
our ability to get Fedora 10 Beta properly staged to our mirrors will be
severely diminished. As such, I propose that we delay the release of
Fedora 10 Beta from Tuesday Sept 23 to Thursday Sept 25. This should
give us enough days clear of the outage to properly stage the Beta bits
for our release.
