A --delete-quarantine option to rsync could be nice.

Files deleted are moved to a quarantine folder. The next time
a download occurs the quarantine is checked if the file is there.
If it is, it is used to seed the delta transfer.

Such an option would have saved many Gb of downloads over time
for me.
